Dr. Tynan was born and raised in Arizona, where her love for animals began early. At just three years old, she proudly declared she wanted to be a “peterinarian” and has been pursuing that dream ever since. Growing up in a pet-filled home (complete with koi fish), she developed a particular fondness for zoo and wildlife species, which helped shape her passion for veterinary medicine.
She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, then went on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University. After years of training and experience, Dr. Tynan is honored to serve the Mesa community as part of the Family VetCare team, where she enjoys forming meaningful relationships with clients and their pets. When she’s not at the hospital, Dr. Tynan loves spending time with friends and family, discovering new corners of the Valley, and tending to her growing collection of houseplants.
