After her first visit to SeaWorld when she was five, Dr. Jessica Day knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. Her passion for helping animals, love for science, and fascination with medicine has continued to make a career in veterinary medicine the perfect fit for her. The human-animal bond is something she grew up understanding thanks to her best childhood friend–a yellow lab named Maggie. Dr. Day was born in Illinois but grew up in Arizona. She earned her B.S. in Veterinary Science from the University of Arizona (BEAR DOWN!) and then went on to complete her DVM at Colorado State University.
