Dr. Werner was born in Mesa and raised in Gilbert, Arizona, before heading to Oklahoma in 2015 to pursue her passion for veterinary medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and Animal Science from Oklahoma State University, an experience she enjoyed so much that she stayed to complete her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine as well.
After graduation, Dr. Werner began her career treating companion animals in a multi-species practice, where she developed a strong connection with the local community and took pride in supporting the health and well-being of their beloved pets. She has a special interest in client relationship building and surgery, finding deep fulfillment in partnering with pet owners and delivering care that improves quality of life. Her journey has since brought her back to the Arizona desert, where she’s proud to care for pets in the community she still considers home.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Werner enjoys spending time outdoors, especially when accompanied by her two golden retrievers.
