Family VetCare Location: Chandler
Dr. Autumn Pennington was born in Arizona and grew up with a zoo. She had dogs, cats, tortoises, snakes, chickens, parakeets, fish, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, horses, and even a feisty goose – all who contributed towards my love for the human-animal bond. She is a house-divided, having earned my Bachelors in Applied Biological Sciences at Arizona State University (GO DEVILS!) and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at The University of Arizona.
She began working at Family VetCare in 2015 as a receptionist, but quickly joined the veterinary technician team and stayed until 2022, only leaving for a short three years to pursue my DVM. She is SO excited to be returning to Family VetCare and providing the best care for pets and their people! Dr. Pennington’s veterinary interests include diagnostic imaging, soft tissue surgery, wound management, palliative care, and client education.
Outside of the hospital, she enjoys painting, reading fantasy/dystopian novels, pilates, exploring coffee shops, or spending time with her mini-Aussie and two handsome tuxedo cats.
