Becoming a veterinarian is a lifelong dream for me. I enjoy the challenges of working with animals, trying to figure out what is wrong with someone that can’t tell you! My favorite part of being a vet is seeing a pet as a puppy or kitten and helping it through to old age.
I received my undergraduate in Veterinary Science from the University of Arizona in 2000. In 2006 I received my DVM from Colorado State University and joined Family VetCare following graduation. My areas of special interest include dermatology, preventive medicine, and behavior problems. I am a member of the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association and American Veterinary Medical Association. I live in Phoenix with my husband and children. We share our home with two dogs, two cats, and a tortoise named “Rocky”. “Sydney” is a Boxer, “Shelby” is a Labrador Retriever Mix, “Mako” is a Domestic Shorthair, and “Piper” is a Domestic Medium Hair. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, watching Diamondbacks Baseball and Wildcat Basketball. Go Cats!
